This Architect designed house was constructed in 2005 to Florida hurricane resistant standards on a reinforced concrete base with reinforced concrete columns rising to the 2nd and third floors. The ground (or first) floor has block and cement walls, with timber cladding to the second and third floors and integral insulation throughout.
